Kaya Bajji is a common snack in South India.It is easy to make and delicious.
Bajji recipe is one of best tea time and rainy time snack. Hot bajji and coconut chutney along with tea will come in front of our eyes whenever we are in the rainy weather.
Ingredients:
Raw Banana (Bajji Kaya) -2
gram flour - 1 cup
Maida - 1 tsp
Rice flour - 1 cup
Asafoetida powder - 1 tsp
Salt
Oil
Water
Method of preparation:
Mix rice flour, gram flour, flour, red chilli powder, asafoetida powder and salt with water to make a thick batter.
Heat oil in a pan.
Peel the raw Banana into slices.
Dip each slice into the batter and place in hot oil.
Fry on both sides until golden brown.
Serve with hot tea.
